On Happiness and Life thereafter..

“Every human being wants happiness, does not want suffering. From the very birth, we have every right to have a happy life. Nobody wants pain. Nobody wants suffering. The very purpose of our life is happiness. Thats the ultimate answer. So, no talking about Nirvana, god or the creator. Just a warm-hearted person. Thats all. The very purpose of our life is happiness, joyfulness.”

– The Dalai Lama

“I remember one morning getting up at dawn, there was such a sense of possibility, you know, that feeling? And I remember thinking to myself that this is the beginning of happiness, this is where it starts. And of course there will always be more. It never occurred to me that it wasn’t the beginning… it was happiness. It was the moment, right then.”

– Clarissa Vaughan (Meryl Streep, The Hours)

To set myself free. The scabs of a deadly past have finally shed themselves without scars. Surprisingly.
To not be afraid of accepting and in fact, embracing life.
Most importantly, to forgive the unforgivable. People like yourself, K. And going a step further to say that, I wish you peace and some semblance of honesty or integrity at some point in time before you disintegrate completely.
Evolve. Its your only option. Else, you will perish. Without choice.

Extremely calm and detached today. In a good sort of way.

  1. TOR,
Extremely true. When we learn to forgive others, we evolve ourselves and we are free of the burden of pain caused by someone in our lives. Loved your thoughts.

  2. Remember when you were young, you shone like the sun.
    Shine on you crazy diamond.
Now there’s a look in your eyes, like black holes in the sky.
    Shine on you crazy diamond.
You were caught on the crossfire of childhood and stardom,
    blown on the steel breeze.
Come on you target for faraway laughter,
come on you stranger, you legend, you martyr, and shine!
You reached for the secret too soon, you cried for the moon.
    Shine on you crazy diamond.
Threatened by shadows at night, and exposed in the light.
    Shine on you crazy diamond.
Well you wore out your welcome with random precision,
    rode on the steel breeze.
Come on you raver, you seer of visions,
come on you painter, you piper, you prisoner, and shine!

  3. I know I should not leave an entire song but you known how it is!
