Detachment and Fear

           I must not fear.

Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
Only I will remain.

Someday, I hope to forgive You. I really do. With each day that passes by I gain a little more strength and I know that by the time it ends, I will be so bloody strong that I will once again be in a position to chew You up and spit You out. Yet, I won’t do that. I won’t do that because I am better than You.

And that says it all.
